Seriously, where does the time go?! It sure does fly when you are having fun! I can not believe that we celebrated our first wedding anniversary last month, it seems like only yesterday that we were celebrating tying the knot surrounded by all our family and friends! So many wonderful memories of an amazing day.
I am such a lucky girly to be able to call Adrian my husband, he really is the best I could wish for and it's been a great first year of marriage. I'm so excited for what the future will hold for us.
We had a lovely time celebrating. I treated Hubs to a slap up meal at Coombe Abbey Country Hotel, he is getting hard to buy for in his old age, lol, so I thought the gift of food was as good as any! We had a lovely evening with a few glasses of bubbly!
I was spoilt rotten and hubs brought me some beautiful charms for my Pandora bracelet, which I love, he brought it for me whilst we were on honeymoon last year and I love adding charms that have special meaning to me. Such a lovely piece of keepsake jewellery. I have also been treated to a weekend in London in October to see a Cirque De Soleil show, a meal and shopping! We are going with Adrian's sister and her husband, so should be lots of fun. Hubs also surprised me with this gorgeous shabby chic china cabinet that I'd had my eye on your ages, it now houses my wedding bouquet, some of our wedding china, presents and keepsakes. It keeps them nice and safe and looks so pretty too.
We also had lots of lovely gifts from our parents and siblings, I know we are a lucky pair!
We were then off on our annual holiday, which was much needed, it has been such a busy year. I'll share more about the South of France soon, we loved it there, it was a fabulous break. I now feel recharged, it gave me time to regroup. There was so much inspiration there for a girl that loves anything shabby chic, vintage or country. Ideas a plenty!
I will be back sooner this time as I have now finished up the last of my last wedding stationery orders for this year now, so I'm hoping to have some more free time for a change! I will have some thank you cards to share, some photos from our trip, my birthday, some projects I made for us for our anniversary and the latest wedding stationery creations!!
Thanks for stopping by!
