Never Trust a man to do a womans job!!

Thought I'd better swing by here!! I really don't know where the days are going (not to mention the weeks and months!!). I seem to have been so busy since returning from our holiday, catching up with housework and laundry, seeing family and not to mention work, the weather has been lovely (just wish I didn't suffer with hayfever!), we shouldn't have to go to work when it's this nice outside!! I think the fact I've got some work to complete for a course makes even defrosting the freezer seem more appealing, so maybe some of the busyness is diversion tactics!! He he, I must start work properly on my assignment and presentation next week, I don't want to be rushing it at the last minute!!

Whilst in Florida I was in the Scrappy Boutique doing a scrapbook store dash as there was half hour until closing and it was our last full day there! So I sent Adrian over to Target to look at the photo frames so we could buy his mum a present, I said I'd meet him there. They had lovely ones with quotes on and all sorts of decorative ones. Sue loves Florida too and was a big fan of Target whilst there a few years ago, so i thought it would be an appropriate present. Well Adrian returns with a photo frame ..... but it's a completely plain one!!! I knew he should have waited for me!! It is a nice frame but didn't really seem any different from the ones you can get here at home, so being a crafter I added a little something from my new supplies. Thought I'd share a quick picture.

Here is the before:

Here is the after photo:

Supplies: Lace ribbon and fabric flower - Prima/Butterfly charms - Maya Road/Buttons and thread - PTI.

Quite simple really but Sue liked it so that's the main thing. The photo is of me and Adrian on a night out at the Hard Rock Cafe at Universal's City Walk, they take the photo when you walk in and we decided to have it, it was a set of three, so Adrian wanted gave his mum and dad one. I brought my mum some lovely tarts etc from the Yankee candle shop (oh, I adore Yankee candle!!) and a Tinkerbell ornament.

I'll share a pic of the other new stash I acquired in Florida over the weekend and hopefully a card or project too, the only bit of crafting I have managed was at our first Paper Scissors Craft meeting in Brinklow, was a small group but it was lovely to craft together in the newly refurbished hall. I think I did more chatting than crafting though!!

I'm off to an all day workshop at Stampeezee tomorrow, really looking forward to it as haven't been toa workshop in ages and the lovely Annika is doing Scrapbooking with us and teaching us how to use the melt pot etc, so should be fun!!

Have a great weekend.
