Nice to be home!

I've been away on a course for a week, hence my absence from my little old blog! It was a full on week, lots of learning, we also enjoyed some corporate hospitality too, which was nice ;-) It's lovely to be home though as we were having late nights and very early mornings! I now just have a 2500 essay to write on stoma care and a presentation to plan! Boy, I'm ready for our holiday!

Anyways, I made this card and gift bag for my lovely friend Gemma's birthday last Sunday and didn't have chance to post it on here before going off to London. I was pleased with how they turned out. I love felt and really enjoyed making the felt flowers! It made a change to make a card that didn't require colouring in a stamped image, love those but it made a nice change to do something like this, I can see me doing more like this!

Supplies: Cardstock - Papertrey Ink, SU/DP - Tilda/felt, pins and vintage seam binding from stash/Buttons and twine - Papertrey Ink/Sentiment stamp - Unity and PTI/other Fiskars apron lace punch, sizzix flower dies, big shot/Kraft gift bag from stash.

I wanted to take a picture of them separately but my camera is playing up! I hope it sorts itself out for our holiday as want to take lots of snaps! Also I put glitter pen on the sentiment to accent but this doesn't show up very well in the photo.

Well the sun is shining, it's a beautiful day, ENJOY!! (if only I didn't have hayfever!!)
