Cute Cupcakes

Last week was a busy week, but good all the same! Apologies for lack of creations, the sort out continues and I put some items on ebay, really pleased with how well they did. I've also got some more items to list too

The best part about last week was booking our holiday! We are off to Florida this year and we can not wait!!! Haven't been for a few years and I'm really looking forward to going back there. Hence the ebay money will give me some spending money for new stash over there! Also haven't had a two week break for a long time so that will be nice!

Anyway onto my card and probably the reason you are here ;-) I used this adorable Unity KOTM stamp, those cupcakes look good enough to eat! I literally came out in a sweat cutting into my new delish Tilda papers, I've also got some of the fabric too and have got a date with my friend Gemma and her lovely mum Jan for a sewing day, should be fun!

Supplies: Stamp - Unity Stamp co KOTM, sentiment - SU/Papers - Tilda/other - sewing machine, nesties, liquid pearls and stickles, SU oval punches, crachet lace.

I'm putting together my celebration blog candy, so watch this space!

Hope you are having a fab week so far!

Sorry I've been MIA this past week! The clear out/sort out continues! I've added more items to ebay tonight, some new Stampin up items again and other bargains to be had. I'll be continuing to add over the next few days too.

I'm really pleased with how my first lot of listings went! Was well worth all the effort as not only am I now more organised but I've made a few pennies too! I wonder what that will be spent on..............!!!

I've been colouring in some images etc so hope to have a card to share as soon as I've packaged and sent all of the ebay items out.

Hope you have had a great weekend!

Watch this space as I'm also putting together some celebration blog candy.

Follower of the month for Feb and March

I'm late with announcing my follower of the month for Feb but early for March, so I've met myself somewhere in the middle! ha ha.

My follower of the month for February is the wonderful Debbie (Country Heart and Home), she leaves such lovely comments on here for me and her blog is always full of inspiration. She also works super hard to bring us the recipe challenges every week, thanks Debbie. I've still got lots of the recipes I want to try (always playing catch up!). I can't wait to make this weeks malteaser cakes! yum yum! These are the goodies Debbie will receive (A5 Papermania Blueberry Hill papers and some mulberry paper flowers). I'll also add a little chocolate for Easter!

My follower of the month for March is the lovely Bonnie (Pink Bonbons), she leaves the sweetest comments ever. Her blog is also full of gorgeous creations and inspiration. These are the goodies Bonnie will receive (a selection of 6x6 papers and some paper flowers and some embellishments). Again I'll add some Easter chocolate too!

If you could both let me have your snail mail addresses and I'll post these out ASAP to you.

Thank you so much to both these lovely ladies for there encouragement and kind words, if you have never visited there blogs, then why not pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed! Also thank you to all my other fantastic followers, you are the best! I know this isn't a lot but it's just my little way of saying thank you, I'd spoil you all with baskets full of the latest crafting goodies if I won the lottery! lol.

Crafty Clearout!

I just wanted to give you a heads up that as a result of my crafty clearout I have listed my unwanted items on ebay. Many of these items are Stampin' up items that are brand new or as good as new. I stopped being a demonstrator when they changed the user agreement, I like SU but did not want to be restricted to what I can post on my blog etc. I will still like and use SU products but many of these items I brought to make up my sales or with the intention of using on samples or workshops, this did not happen before they changed the goal posts.

So if you want to grab a bargain then take a look, link is at the top in the sidebar, some of you may have already had a look. I will be adding to this all week as I'm continuing to sort and clear out my stash, I've got lots of items, including craft books left at my mum and dad's house that I'm going to sort through. This will give me more space and some pennies for new stash! lol. Whilst having a sort out I've rediscovered many items I forgot I had or that are neglected and it has given me a real push to USE things!! It is also great to get a sense of order and find a home for everything!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's day to all you mum's out there. I hope that you get pampered and spoilt rotten on your special day!

I want to wish my mum a lovely day, she is my best friend too and I really don't know what I would do without her. She does so much for me and I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for her love and support. I love you mum.

I also want to wish Adrian's mum, Sue, a great day too, as she is a lovely mother-in-law to be and does so much for us too.

Here is the card and matching box I made for Sue, the card and box I made for my mum is in the post below.

Supplies: Birdhouse stamp - PTI/sentiment - woodware/DP - Papermania Blueberry Hill/Ribbon - SU and stash/flowers - Wild Orchid crafts/Tools - nesties, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch.

I like the spring-like feel to this card, just hope Spring is here soon now, can't wait to see leaves on the trees and some colour around!

I've enjoyed my time off this week, started spring cleaning, done some crafting, went to see The Lovely Bones and for a meal with my mum, then went to Chester for a few days with Adrian, which was a nice relaxing break, did a spot of shopping, had a nice meal and also went to see Avitar in 3D, which was really good. Then Saturday evening caught up with my best friend. Just a shame it goes so quickly!

I'll be putting lots of craft items on Ebay very soon as a result of a big crafty clearout, many of these are Stampin' Up items which have not even been used!! So please check back if you are interested and I'll post a link. Blog candy coming soon too, plus follower of the month for Feb and for March to be announced!

Hey there, hope your week has got off to a good start. Mine has as I have a few days holiday from work this week, so that's always good! lol. Stampeezee DT card - Shabby owl!

These adorable Honey and Hugs stamps from Papermania are new at Stampeezee, they are so cute and are so cute and what's even better is that they are only £3.99!

I have used the owl set to create this card. I'm so in a shabby chic mood at the moment and can't see it changing anytime soon, sorry! Lovin' these shabby papers too. I thought I'd use the cracked glass technique as I haven't done this in a while and it is fun!

Supplies: Image and sentiment stamp - Papermania/ DP - Papermania Blueberry Hill/Flowers, gems and crochet lace from stash/tools - nesties, clear embossing powder, glamour dust, versamark pad, heat gun, distress ink, distress tool, branch punch - woodware and sewing machine.

Right I'm off to cook dinner, Fajitas and Mexican style rice - Yum! Had a busy week at work and lookin' forward to putting my feet up tonight with a nice glass of wine and a good film. Thank goodness for a day off tomorrow! Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Enjoy your evening.

Mini Easter Basket

March already?!?! Where is this year going? Well it's nice to see the sun shining that's for sure! Spring is finally in the air, just what we all need after such a long cold winter. I'd been having a bit of a spring clean and sort out over the weekend. I want to organise my craft stash once and for all and start really using things, I've got a zutter bind it all machine, never been out the box in the two years I've owned it!! Shameful! Not to mention piles of scrapbooks begging for photos/layouts etc!

Here is a little Easter basket I made, as it's definitely time for all the Easter, spring and mothers day projects. They are quite cute and hold my fav chocolate, mini eggs! They would also be nice for mother's day, they are really easy to make!

Supplies: DP and ribbon - Stampin' up/Cherry blossom flowers - Wild orchid crafts/Tools - Martha Stewart buttery punch, woodware branch punch/other gems from stash and mini eggs, the are going down as I'm writing this post!! lol.

Thank you for all the lovely comments on my last card and my followers. I'll have some candy on offer soon.

Hope you are having a good week so far.
