Blog Candy!

***Candy now closed***
Winner is tracy, addicted to craft, vist her fantastic blog here. Please contact me Tracy with your address so I can post it to you.
As promised some blog candy. I brought a complete set of these Leann Ellis stamps from Sugar Nellie a little while ago, they are lovely but it would probably take me a while to get round to using them all. So if you would like to give this stamp and the these lovely my minds eye papers (new from Stampeezee) and selection of embellishments (dew drops, die cut butterflies, 3 made with love silver charms, Prima hydrangea flowers, heart brads, beaded hearts, ice gems,1 metre of pink crochet trim and wooden pegs) a home, then please leave a comment and post a link to my candy on your blog. I'll pick a winner next Sunday using random org. I will post worldwide and you can enter if you do not have a blog. Only one entry per blogger please to make it fair.

Thanks for stopping by! I started a card today but have got to finish it as housework and having people over to visit and my next circle journal for Stampeezee had to be done (last minute again!) so I'll post it soon. Back to work tomorrow. Boo hoo my week of went so fast! Oh well at least the weather was nice, we had a few days away and our lovely new cottage front door was fitted this week.

Thanks for your lovely comments about the wedding invitations below, I love reading them, good for a confidence boost! (I'm my own worst critic!).

Hugs,

Wedding invitations

As I mentioned just over a week ago I made a dear family friends wedding invitations with the help of the bride to be and her mum. We had fun making them and it was great to have two extra pairs of hands, we had a conveyor belt type production line going on! lol. Thought I'd share a photo. They wanted something simple yet elegant with butterflies, here is what we came up with.

Thanks for looking and for any comments you may leave. Come back later as I'll have some blog candy up for grabs and hopefully a card to show you!

Hugs,

Stampin' Up ribbon share!

I've been meaning to do a SU ribbon share for quite a while, well here it is! The SU ribbons are simply gorgeous and lovely quality but you might not want a whole spool of one type or colour of ribbon. (plus would get quite pricey if you wanted them all!). So here is a solution!

You can view the selection of SU ribbons in the catalogue or by clinking on the SU link in the sidebar. Sorry I only have a selection of these ribbons in my own stash so can not take a picture of all the ribbons you will get.

Share 1: Need 4 participants

Taffeta Ribbon share
2 metres each of all 8 colours (whisper white, very vanilla, Kraft, Chocolate chip, basic grey, mellow moss, bashful blue and pretty in pink), total of 16 metres. Price is £13.50 inc P&P.

Share 2: Need 6 participants

Gingham ribbon share
2 metres each of all 6 colours, total 12 metres of gingham ribbon. Price £7.25 inc P&P

I'll throw in a metre of linen thread to each ribbon share. If you would like to participate in the two shares then I will combine P&P for you.

Thought I'd start with some small shares for those of you who may just want a certain type of ribbon or are watching your pennies, I can run larger ribbon shares if you are interested. Please let me know.

If you would like to participate in a ribbon share then please email me, link in sidebar.

I am also now running an SU loyalty scheme, you will receive 1 point for every £20 you spend (not inc P&P) and each point is worth one pound. You can save up your points for up to 6 months (I'll keep a record) and then redeem them on whatever goods you like from the catalogue or deduct your points from the total cost of an order.

Thanks for stopping by!

SU Stampers 10 club

Free SU goodies anyone?! I would like to run a SU stampers 10 club, here is how it works:

I need 10 customers to commit to spend £15 per month plus P&P on SU products for 10 months.

Then each month one of the members gets to be the hostess, therefore they get a level one hostess set free and an extra £15 to spend on merchandise of there choice. This happens once for each member of the club within the 10 month period.

A great way to get some SU goodies for free! I will also include a small free gift for each person that signs up and send project sheets to my members.

So if you are interested or need any further information then please don't hesitate to contact me!

I'm back

Hi I'm back from our short break in Chester, it's a lovely city and was nice to have a change of scenery. Nice not to have to cook or run around for a few days.

It's been four years today since by nan passed away, so feeling a little sad (still find it hard to come to terms with, as it was sudden, she only went into hospital for a routine minor operation). She is missed dearly. Love you always nan.

I'll be back soon with some creations.

I finally have had chance to make a card for a challenge, something I had not had time for for a while! I've even combined two challenges in one! Over at papertake weekly there is a lovely sketch to follow and over on a Spoonful of Sugar it's their first birthday so the theme is celebration cards and they will pick 5 winners!

This also doubles up as a Stampeezee DT card as this was one of the stamps that Debbie gave me to use.

Card ingeredients: Stamps - Fairy (tink) is by the greetings farm available here, sentiment is by SU! Coloured with distress inks, shimmer paints and stickles. DP - DCWV Nana's nursary stack, cardstock - SU! Other - SU oval punches and woodware buttons.

I've been helping to make a dear friends wedding invitations today, we has fun and they turned out lovely, will post pic soon.

Have a great weekend!

SU thank you card

I know I've not been blogging much, excuse is same as always busy, busy, busy! Thankfully I've got a week off work next week and we are off to Chester for a few days, for a short break and change of scenery. We love our new home but it's taken all of our time, effort and money (as they do), so we need some time out! Have not forgotten about posting some pictures of our house on my blog, they will be coming in the next few weeks, just finishing some things off etc then I'll take the pics and post them.

I made this thank you card for a dear family friend who made our lovely curtains for us (thanks Auntie Janice)I managed to get Laura Ashley fabric half price and then Janice made them and has done a fabulous job. Wish I could sew like that!

I have used : Stampin up! Very versatile stamp set, I stamped with versamark ink and then used chalks to colour image and sentiment. Accented with stickles. DP, cardstock and ribbon from SU! Have also used the oval and scallop oval punches (lovin' these) from SU! (all from mini catalogue).
Other: the kraft card blanks I have had in my stash for ages, pin from ebay and dew drops are from Stampeezee.

***Also wanted to let you know that Stampeezee now has The Greetings Farm stamps in stock, has had a restock of spring magnolias and has some lovely new imaginisce products too. If you are interested check them out soon as they are selling fast!***

I've been lucky enough to be given some greetings farm stamps and imaginisce products to play with, so watch this space! (thanks Debbie) I was also naughty and brought some of the new products too. I've got so many stamps that have never seen ink, I really need to use them!!!

Love,
