Little house

I am in the process of making some new address cards and thank you cards. I really like this little house stamp from the Unity stamp co KOTM (Jan), it reminds me of ours in the way that it's cute and small! I've got a few house stamps so will be doing a few card designs to send out to family and friends, so I'll share them as I make them. We are having our phone line connected next week, so will send them out once I have our new telephone number. Can't wait for that as we will have proper Internet access then too! (Have been popping home to mum and dad's to post on blog at moment!). Can hopefully get full swing back into blogging then!
Card components:
Stamp-Unity KOTM Jan, coloured with distress inks, glossy accents on windows.
DP-Basic grey, sugared colloection
Cardstock-Stampin' Up
Flower centres are Kars pearl accents, they are like glass, love 'em, available from Stampeezee!
Other-Crochet ribbon from stash, label nestabilities, distress tools.
I better get back to some housework now! Just popped to Stampeezee and got a few new treats to add to my stash. Then got to mum and dad and the Gorjuss girls collection 2 has arrived! Yipeeeeeee!!! They are lovely!
Enjoy the sunshine,

Bag yourself some Gorjuss candy!

Candy now closed
Candy winner is Grace, contact me so I can get your candy to you. Sorry for delay in announcing the winner, have had technical difficulties with internet!
As I mentioned before I had ordered something that I wanted to offer as blog candy but it only arrived the other day due to the bank holidays. So here is my Gorjuss candy, a canvas bag with a Gorjuss girl image on it. It's great for your shopping or carrying your craft supplies in, it folds down to fit inside your handbag and it's environmentally friendly to boot. I ordered myself one too and love it, it's so cute! This candy is open to all (even non-crafters!), just leave a comment on this post and a link on your blog to this candy. If you do not have a blog you can still enter. I will post worldwide. This will close and a winner drawn by random generator on 29th April.
Hopefully I'll be back soon with some craft projects and some photos of our new home. Still settling in and sorting our things out. Back to work soon too, my weeks holiday from work has gone so fast! Had my family round last night and we had a great time, Adrian's family are coming today so I better get to preparing the food. Fun entertaining in your own home!
Home you are enjoying the weekend.

New Home!

Well what a hectic week! Adrian and I have finally moved into our first home together. It's been very busy and there seems no end to unpacking the boxes etc! It's been exciting and emotional. I was very sad and sentimental to be leaving my family home after all these years, I'm really close to my family and it's a big change. On the other hand I'm over joyed to be moving in with Adrian and love our new home. It took longer than we expected to get our first home and we met many obstacles on the way but we got there in the end! I still can't believe it's ours. All the hard work has paid off and it looks lovely. We have many people to thank and I better get cracking with making the thank you cards once I have unpacked and sorted out all my craft supplies. Our families and friends have been an invaluable source of help and support and from the bottom of my heart I thank them. We truley are blessed. I'll post some photo's of our little cottage as soon as we are settled. Love how everything has turned out. I took some before shots, just need to take the after shots now! I'll be back to crafting ASAP, i promise! (I'm itching to make something other than dinner!).

The winner of the Unity stamps is Shannon, lucky number 7! Visit her fantastic blog Inkhearts to see her lovely creations. Email me your address so that I can get these to you Shannon, I'll pop some other bits and pieces in to go with the stamps too. Thanks for all the lovely comments about the circle journal, it is a fun idea, definitely worth doing with some friends! Been busy at our house today, on the final stages now, starting to look like a home, can't wait, it's exciting now! So unfortunately no projects today, but as soon as we are moved and settled in, i'm hoping to have much more time to craft and blog. Also some time out to relax would be great!

Circle Journal and Free Stamps!

Giveaway now closed. I recently went to the scrapbook monthly workshop at Stampeezee where we started these circle journals. The concept is that we create an altered mini book of a subject of our choice, decorated the covers, complete a rules and tag page and our first two pages, then we swap them with another member of the group and create the next two pages of their journal and they do yours and so on. So when the journal comes full cirle you have a mini book that has been created by the whole group, a lovely way to share ideas and creativity. I'm a little behind with mine, no suprises there lately! Can't wait until the finished journals are completed. Here is a peek at my cover, I'll share more images when the book comes back to me (may take a while as there are over 10 of us in the group). Mine was on favourite books, my review is (how did you guess!), about Twilight! Which reminds me that the DVD is released in the UK today, Yipeee!. Hoping to get some good books recommended!

I recently brought a mystery grab bag of Unity stamps and ended up with a few duplicates, so if you would like these few stamps, please leave a comment at the bottom of this post and I'll choose a winner on Wednesday to send them on to. You do not have to leave a link but if you want to then that's great! I'll post wordwide.

I'm hoping to join in with some of the fun challenges out there, but this week is bound to be super hectic as we are on the final stages of our house and are due to move in together at Easter! Just the thought of sorting and packing up my craft supplies/tools is daunting, let alone all my other stuff (I'm by no means a minimalist!). So to celebrate Easter and our move I will be offering some Gorjuss blog candy (clue is in the title), so you will have to come back later in the week to check it out. It is a great candy if I do say so myself!
